Frazer is delighted to announce that a paperback edition of his autobiography Hines Sight is now at the printers and should be launched in LA at the annual Gallifrey convention from the 18th to the 20th February 2011.

Anyone who pre-orders, however (please see the ordering option on the Right), will receive their copies as soon as they are printed, and the books will be despatched in early February. All orders received before the Gallifey convention will also receive a free random badge courtesy of Frazer.

At the convention there will be a selection of badges available for sale (while stocks last), and Frazer will also be performing a special One Man Show, Time Travelling Scot, a gallop through time with the longest serving companion to have appeared in Doctor Who.

Sales of Frazer's autobiography, Hines Sight, have been going very well - so well that the hardback edition is very nearly sold out! There are a few copies left at the moment, so if you're interested, then please order using the PayPal link on the right.

The reviews for Hines Sight have started to appear now:

Sci-Fi-online.com commented: 'Hines has a nice easy reading style of writing, but in the end the book has less to do with his two well known roles and more to do about Hines as a person, and let’s face it that’s the sort of thing you really want to read in an autobiography.'

Kasterborous.com loved the book: 'the book ... is peppered with hundreds of anecdotes that will entertain, amuse and move even the most hard to please fan.' and 'The book comes into its own when Frazer covers broken relationships and marriages. Obviously writing honestly he delivers accounts of failed associations with respect for all concerned. It’s mature, considered and above everything else honest.

Announcing the publication of Hines Sight, a re-edited and revised first hardback edition of Frazer Hines' acclaimed 1996 autobiography.

Frazer Hines is one of the UK's most charismatic stars of stage and screen. From his early days as a child actor in films such as X The Unknown, and appearances in Emergency Ward 10 and Coronation Street, Frazer became a household name playing the time-travelling Scot, Jamie McCrimmon, alongside Patrick Troughton in the BBC's cult series Doctor Who. In 1972 he was cast as Joe Sugden in the fledgeling soap opera Emmerdale Farm, and became the housewife's favourite farmer for over two decades.

In this compelling and funny book, Frazer reveals his own thoughts and feelings when faced with stardom at an early age, the pressure of being an early 'media celebrity', his love of horses and cricket, and what it was actually like to date, marry and divorce some of the most eligible and beautiful women to have crossed stage and screen in the last 40 years.
